Nusantara collects certain information from users who browse or shop through our website located at (“Website”). This includes information, also known as Personally Identifiable Information or “PII” that identifies an individual Website User or can be linked to a User, their computer or mobile device. This Privacy Policy describes our policies and procedures related to the collection and use of that information.

This Privacy Policy applies only to information collected through our Website and not to information collected offline. It does not apply to any third-party site or service linked to or referred to by our Website, through our products or services, or by our employees. By accessing the Website, you agree to the Privacy Policy in force at the time of access.


What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on the site, place an order, initiate communications, respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or use another site feature such as enter a contest or sweepstakes.


  • When registering or ordering we ask you for your name, business name, e-mail address, mailing and / or billing address, shipping address(es), phone number, credit card information, Tax ID number or other information. You may not visit our site anonymously as wholesale customers must apply for an account and be individually approved as a business in order to access or order from our Website. Per our Terms and Conditions, any account may be terminated or withdrawn at any time at the sole discretion of Nusantara, in particular for violation of the Terms of Use.


  • Like many websites, we use “cookies” to enhance your experience and gather information about Users and their visits to our Website. Please refer to the “Cookies” section below for information about cookies and how we use them.

How do we use your information that we collect?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, browse the website, purchase products, enter a contest or promotion, respond to a survey or marketing communication, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

  • To personalize your site experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested;
  • To allow us to better respond to your customer service requests;
  • To quickly process your transactions;

When you place orders or access your personal information it is done via a secure server using modern up-to-date methods of encryption. All sensitive / credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer / Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS) and technology and encrypted in our databases to be accessed only as stated above.


However, even with these security measures, we cannot guarantee the security of your Personally Identifiable Information. The security of the information transmission and storage depends on the end-to-end security of all parts of the systems, including the systems on our end, the system(s) in the network(s) between our and your systems, the system or device on your end and the strength of your passwords and whether or not your systems are kept up to date. By using our Website you acknowledge and agree that we make no such absolute guarantee of security of your PII and agree that you use our Website at your own risk.

For instance, we use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. However, you can still place orders over the telephone by contacting customer service. This my result in extended service or shipping times and possibly incur additional service charges.

Do we disclose the information we collect to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to third parties unless we provide you with advance notice, except as described below. The term “third parties” does not include Nusantara, Inc. or its website hosting partners or other parties, subcontractors and service providers who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or provide technical or operational support of the Website and order fulfillment or financial servicing, so long as those parties maintain privacy policies and practices consistent with ours.


We may also disclose PII to our attorneys or collection or credit agencies to address violations of contract, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others’ rights, property, or safety, or if we suspect illegal behavior.


We will disclose any PII demanded in a valid subpoena or court order or when otherwise appropriate or necessary to comply with the law.

Non-personally identifiable Website User or visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.


We may disclose PII in connection with a corporate transaction such as sale, merger or bankruptcy of our company or any part thereof.


Accessing, modifying or removing information you have provided to us
To obtain a copy of, modify or delete your personally identifiable information you must contact us by e-mail at or by mail at Nusantara, 403 Sheldon Ave., West Rutland, VT 05777.  Changing your shipping address or the location of your business may trigger a re-evaluation of your account due to Nusantara’s practice of protecting the territories of our retailers. (Note that failure to notify Nusantara about such changes may violate our Terms and Conditions and be grounds for revocation of your account.)


To change your email subscriptions, please let us know by modifying your preferences in the “Unsubscribe” section of any email flyer sent to you. Please note that due to email production schedules you may receive any emails already in production and scheduled to be sent.


If you flag or report as Spam any email from or your email provider may block or discard important emails from Nusantara regarding your orders or shipments. We have no influence on that action. You must unblock / unreport or add Nusantara’s address(es) to your White List or Contacts from your end in order to correct that type of error.

To delete all of your online account information from our database, send an email to We will deactivate your online account and you will no longer be able to order from Nusantara. Once all financial obligations have been satisfied we will archive your information for such periods as required by law or for Tax purposes.


Please note that we may maintain information about an individual sales transaction in order to service that transaction and for record keeping.

In an attempt to provide you with increased value, we may include third party links on our site. These linked sites have separate and independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of these linked sites. However, we try to protect the integrity of our site and welcome any feedback about any linked site (including if a specific link does not work).

Changes to our policy
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page. Policy changes will apply only to information collected after the date of the change.
